Ms. Kianna Long or “Miss Kia” as the students call her, joined the Sunny Wolf Charter School team in 2022 and loves working with your children. She is originally from California, but relocated to Southern Oregon in 2015.

She is married with two children who have both attend SWCS. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing soccer. Her other passions include gardening, fishing, and cooking. She feels it is a privilege to contribute to your child’s development and she enjoys their daily interactions.

Ms. Long does an excellent job as our Site Council Coordinator, we are fortunate to have her.

Bio Coming SoonMrs. Decker grew up in sunny southern California. She was originally in school for Massage Therapy, but found her true joy for children and continued her education in Early Childhood, which led to Elementary Education. She has worked with children for over 16 years. She joined Sunny Wolf in 2015 where she started in the 4th/5th grade classroom and through the changes and growth of the school is now the 6th grade Math and Science teacher. Her true passion is Math and has a love of numbers. Her favorite moments are when a student understands a new concept and you see the light bulb shine above their head.

She loves working with the amazing crew at Sunny Wolf and the wonderful students.

Mrs. Decker and her husband have three children: Jordin, who is now a junior in high school, Cameron, who recently moved to Colorado, and Ashlee who lives in Washington with her family. She enjoys going on adventures with her family including visiting theme parks, playing games, ziplining, skydiving and traveling.

Mrs. Decker also loves turtles and Dutch Bros!

Mrs. Decker has been a member of our Site Council since 2024.
