Hi! I’m Sierra Ramirez, your school social worker at Sunny Wolf Charter School. I work with students one-on-one, in small groups, and sometimes with whole classes to help build social-emotional skills, manage conflicts, and strengthen positive relationships. I love helping students feel heard, understood, and confident in their abilities to solve problems and work together.

I’m new to Southern Oregon, originally from California, and excited to be part of this community. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2023 and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University in 2017. I currently hold a Licensed Masters Social Worker license through the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers and a Preliminary School Social Worker License through the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission. I work through the Southern Oregon Education Service District and am contracted full-time at Sunny Wolf. I first started at Sunny Wolf in Fall of 2024 and love seeing the growth in our students every day. 

In my free time, I love to spend my time doing creative arts such as embroidering and painting. You can find me up on Mt. Shasta, snowboarding during the winter!
